Peace, Love and Beer
I think we could all that 70 degree weather, beer and an amazing view of the upstate NY fall landscape is a pretty good combination. Saturday, 12 Oct was a day for the books. Our entire team was able to attend the Bethel Woods Beer fest at the original Woodstock 69′ grounds and we had a blast.
The festival featured local breweries from the NY area – about 12 in total – each serving 2-3 different styles of beer. There were also local vendors selling amazing food: pasta, cheese, cheese bread, jerky, zeppoles, pretzels, calzones and of course chili.
But the best part of the festival was the crowd! We met some fun people from all over and they made us laugh. Our booth was packed with people waiting for cool Yonkers tattoos and even better beer. We served the Yonkers Lager and the Yonkers Belgian Pale Ale – both received great feedback.
This is an event we are looking forward to next year!
