December Holiday Fun & January Celebrations

The holiday season is in full swing here at Yonkers Brewing Co. The place is decked out with Christmas lights, wreaths, a Christmas tree and a couple menorahs to help get everyone in the holiday spirit. We have seen an influx in parties here over the last couple of weeks; it seems like everyone wants to share the gift of craft beer and tasty food!

We also had New York’s Thirstiest Irish Band, Shilelagh Law, throw an epic concert at the brewery just yesterday, which had an awesome turnout. Anthony Gach & Harmonic Aggression will be joining us for Live Music Thursday on December 17th.

To celebrate the season, we are doing a 12 Beers of Christmas promotion: from yesterday (Sunday) to Christmas Eve, we will have a special for one of our 12 beers on tap. The schedule looks like this:

December

13th-  Yonkers Lager           19th- Golden Lager

14th- Vanilla Stout               20th- Kolsch

15th- Irish Red                       21st- Double IPA

16th- Smoked Marzen          22nd- Fallen Fruit

17th- Yonkers IPA                 23rd- Saison

18th- Honey Blonde              24th- Single Pale Ale Series Sorachi Ace OR GingerRed Rooi

We have plenty to celebrate in January as well. YBC will be the place to be to usher in 2016. We are throwing a masquerade ball  for NYE; one price gets you all food and adult beverages on the night, including a champagne at midnight.

Then, for a little hair of the dog action, we are having a Football Brunch on New Year’s Day. It’s a good excuse to veg out, watch the NCAA College Football Playoffs and other bowl games, enjoy some good food…and drink unlimited sangria or beermosa’s for $20 *shrugs*.

The big party, however, starts on Saturday, January 16th as we invite everyone to come and help us cerebrate our 1 Year Anniversary! It will be an all day affair; first 500 people through the door will get 1 Year Anniversary coozies. We will also be releasing our first anniversary beer, a porter brewed with local (Dutches County) Crown Maple Syrup  aged in bourbon barrelsand Yonkers’ own Pascal Coffee Roasters’ cold brew. Stay tuned for more details on our birthday festivities!

As per usual, there are many exciting things going on at the brewery and the good times keep on rolling. We look forward to spending the holidays and our birthday with you guys…get ready for an awesome time!
