Oh snap…Yonkers IPA is now in bottles!
Today marks the release of Yonkers IPA in bottles! For the past year and a half, Vienna Lager has been the only brew that we offered in six packs and cases, but now, with some new branding, we are ready to send this YBC standard out into the world!
For those of you who have not had the pleasure of trying Yonkers IPA, it’s a medium to light bodied, 6% abv India Pale Ale packed with grapefruit and stone fruit aromas. The balance is hop-forward, with a clean fermentation profile and dry-ish finish, allowing a creative range of hop character to shine through. It was the second brew we made after Vienna Lager and it has maintained as a customer favorite since.
The new packaging (Vienna Lager also got a new whip) is highlighted by it’s eye-catching green color. We really think this guy is going to stand out on shelves and give itself the opportunity to be enjoyed by both new customers and patrons alike. It also provides a subtle nod to Yonkers history, using old-school area maps as the backdrop.
We are really excited about having the opportunity to put Yonkers IPA out into the market while simultaneously launching new branding; it’s all in an effort to show our growth right after celebrating our One Year Anniversary last month. We truly believe that it’s going to be a big year for YBC and we hope you’ll join us for the ride!
We will be giving out IPA samples at Stew Leonard’s in Yonkers today from 5pm-8pm, tomorrow from Noon-3pm and Sunday from Noon-3pm.
Let us know what you think of the new packaging! Until next time…
